Think Ben Stiller in Along Came Polly. That’s Sean…an actuary. He assesses risk for a living. He’s also pretty laid back. Then take Holly. She knows what she wants in life and goes after it. And when she saw Sean, well, it was game on. Literally. They were both in the Gaelic football club. Sean had already been a member of the men’s team, and Holly had just joined the ladies’ team. During one of the club’s social events, Holly spotted Sean and started asking around about him, finally getting a mutual friend to introduce them. Later on, as several team members were headed out to go somewhere else, Holly, with the aid of the other players who were in on the plan, arranged it so that Sean would ride in her car and she could talk to him and get to know him better.
Everyone jokes that girls join the club to find a husband; a good number of players end up dating and getting married. And after Sean assessed that Holly was, well, amazing, the two now carry on the club’s track record with their wedding date set for this August at the beautiful Bluemont Vineyard!
