Despite the unseasonably “cool” summer we’ve had in the DC Metro area this year, Melissa and Brian’s August wedding day at Bethesda Country Club decided to live up to its expectations of unbearably hot and humid. Throw in a torrential evening downpour and the typical August day was complete. Thankfully, Melissa and Brian chose to do a first look, so we finished all the portraits before the storm even came through. But the evening didn’t escape unscathed. With a couple of power blips while dancing in the cozy ballroom as the storm raged outside, everyone joked that the power couldn’t handle the amount of fun everyone was having dancing the Hava Nagila. But even through the heat and humidity, the rain and the power glitches, Melissa and Brian’s day was perfect. Perfect because they share a perfect love.
