Well, okay, it wasn’t exactly the day after, but it was on a day after their wedding earlier this summer. Events ran quite a bit late early in the day, which meant Erin and Andrew had just a couple short minutes for photos between their ceremony in Maryland and reception in DC. In order to spend time with their family and special guests, they were ever so thoughtful and decided to head to the reception instead of having their scheduled portrait session. But wishing they had some photos at the beautiful venue where they celebrated, they contacted me about doing a “day after” session. You mean, as much time as I wanted for bride and groom portraits without the stress of a wedding day timeline?? Yes, please!! So we started at the St. Regis in DC, then headed to a field in Maryland for sunset photos near the church where they were married. I just adore these two – they were so sweet and so nice – and I had so much fun getting to know them!
